Sitting up, planting a tree, and getting feet wet.

This weekend Quinn sat up and stayed up. He was very excited to be sitting on his own.

We also finally cut down one of our Aspen trees that had been sick for a long time... So we went tree shopping and found a nice Crimson Sentry Maple to fill the gap. It was a LOT of work!

Quinn thought he would help dig a little.

Since it was sooo hot again...We headed down to the river to cool off.

Way to go sitting up Quinn.

I like your new tree! Looks like you got a work out Matt.

That's a big tree!

We've been planting too-we just planted tree #22 in our lifetime of planting trees around the west.

For some reason, this Washingtonian has had to live in the desert for the last 16 years!

Someday, I hope to have a yard with lots of big, full grown, shade giving trees. Even if it is back-breaking, hand blistering work!
ps...tell Quinn we think he is a "big boy."
