34 Weeks and . . . CAMPING?

The belly continues to grow. Our little girl will be here before we know it. Still so much to get done, but we decided to take a break and head out of town for the weekend.
Thanks to some great friends who encouraged us to continue the tradition from last year, we went camping this past weekend with 3 other couples. We headed up Friday afternoon and this was the scene as we drove into Stanley.
Luckily it stopped raining when we got to the camp site so we could set up our home for the next 2 days.
Ready for a soggy weekend outdoors!
We were lucky enough to have a dry evening both nights so we could enjoy the campfire and some yummy smores.

We even managed to stay warm through the night with temps in the 30's. Although, Quinn tossing and turning all night didn't help much with our sleep.
First thing in the morning, the rain came back. We all still managed to have a great time. Unfortunately, rain plus a 2 year old makes for a very muddy Quinn.

Quinn had lots of friends to run around with all weekend. He had a blast.
We even went to the fish hatchery.

Quinn and Audrey had fun swinging in the hammock.
Quinn sporting his new mohawk after a waterfall dumped on him from the edge of the tarp.
Quinn, the "King of the Rock!"
The obligatory "Family Photo." The scenery was beautiful.
The whole gang. (The Seibolds, The Smiths, The Cooks, & The McKinneys)
The view as we were leaving. As you can see, the clouds never really lifted the whole weekend. But it sure was beautiful.
We all had a great time, rain and all. Hopefully the tradition will continue next year despite the additional children to chase around.

As I was looking at your post I was shocked to see a familiar face (besides your family obviously). I went to high school with Cam Cook. He was a year older than me but we were in the same ward for a long time and good friends. He is such a great guy. I can't remember if I knew that you guys were friends with him. Anyway, you'll have to tell him hello from me. Looks like you had fun despite the rain. What a trooper Jama camping at 34 weeks. Hopefully you had a decent air mattress to sleep on:)

Wow you're a trooper! My sister Shiloh camps a lot even when she's pregnant and with her newborn babies. Good for you brave women. I think I'll stay home thank you very much!
