Camping with Friends

Although we have moved away, we are lucky enough to have wonderful friends who were willing to meet us somewhere in the middle to have our annual camping trip. This year we grew again. We added a couple families and a few babies. Carson, Izabel, Bailey and Haedyn were all born this past year. We had 6 families come this year. Here is the whole crew minus Lisa's sister and her husband who joined in on the fun. The Seibolds, The Cooks, The Smiths, The McKinneys, & The Withers. (Notice where Quinn chose to stand. He thinks he is a Cook. :)

On Friday, we drove about 5 hours to Emigrant Springs State Heritage Park in Oregon. Along the way we stopped at this cool lookout to stretch our legs.

Quinn loved seeing all his friends again.

Quinn and Audrey enjoying breakfast.

Saturday, we found a Native American cultural center and museum nearby. Lucky us, it was a free day and they had some extra things going on outside, like this giant fish that the kids could climb into.

They also had a whole village set up in the back. Quinn thought the tee-pees were pretty cool.

Jackson, Quinn & Audrey hanging out in a cave.

After the museum, we headed to a fun park in Pendleton. It had a huge wooden play structure. Definately something for all the kids to do. They had a great time, while the adults chatted.

Izabel and her friends Bailey and Carson.

"Hear I come."

"See ya later."

A water spicket and lots and lots of dirt=A very muddy and happy Quinn.

Izabel guarding the food, of course.

Quinn moving in for a kiss.

Awwww!

Is it possible to get a good picture with a 3 yr old and a 1 yr old?

Having fun in the woods.
The Girls (Jennifer, Kim, Lisa, Jama & Amber) The Guys (Rich, Cameron, Corey, Matt M. & Matt S.)

Saying goodbye is always hard.

Whoa, you guys are too young.

You'd think they ran nonstop for 2 days. They crashed the minute were back on the road to go home.

We stopped at the Darigold factory on the way home.

There wasn't too much to see, but it was a nice stopping point and we got some yummy ice cream and cheese curds.

We decided to take a little different route and head over Chinook Pass to get home. It was a beautiful drive.
We had such a fun weekend. It was so great to spend some time with our friends and enjoy the great outdoors. We're already looking forward to next year. Especially Quinn who keeps asking, "Are we going camping tomorrow?"

Yay! Camping was so fun. We were so glad we could go! The pictures are great, especially the 'kissing' photos. ;)
