Labor Day Fun

We stuck around close to home for Labor Day weekend. On Saturday, we left the house with the intent of going on a hike. After driving for about an hour and not finding the trail we were looking for, we stopped in Black Diamond for a donut. We were surprised to see the small town street lined with Lamborghinis and Ferraris. It turned out to be a club that was meeting there for lunch. Wow, wouldn't you like to be in that club? It was fun to see all the cars.

We also headed over to the little museum they have there. Quinn checking out the jail.

The coal car.

And of course the caboose.

Next we headed to a familiar site, Flaming Geyser State Park. We played around down by the river.

Then we went for a little walk and picked some yummy blackberries.

On Sunday, Jama's brother Chad came by for a visit. Izabel wasn't too sure at first, but when he offered her some pie, she became his best friend.

On Labor Day, we headed to the Ballard Locks. It was really neat to see all the boats as they were coming back to Lake Washington from the Puget Sound.

Grandma & Grandpa McKinney joined us for the day.
Quinn loved seeing all the big boats.
Izabel had fun posing in front of a beautiful little flower garden.

We had a great Labor Day weekend despite the rainy weather.
