Mariners FanFest
Since it was a typical rainy Saturday here in Seattle, we headed indoors to explore Safeco Field for their annual Seattle Mariners FanFest.
Quinn was in heaven. So much going on and so much to see.

The family at first base.
Running the bases.

"Come on Izabel, let's go!"
And she's off.
Hanging in the dugout.

Just calling in a pinch hitter.

Checking out the memorabilia. Ken Griffey's locker from the Kingdome days.
Quinn with the Rainiers (Tacoma's minor league team) Moose.
While waiting in line to check out the locker rooms, everyone was getting a picture with this guy. We honestly had no idea who he was, but figured he was someone important if everyone else wanted a picture, so what the heck. Later we found out that he is Jack Zduriencik, General Manager of the Seattle Mariners. Not the most exciting person to meet, but at least it's a funny story to tell later.
The locker room was nice, complete with recliners and T.V.'s everywhere.
Quinn took his hand at announcing the game.
Next up was batting practice. Izabel went first. She did awesome, with a little help of course.

Loved this shot of her flinching just as she hit the ball.
Quinn could definately use a little more practice holding a bat. We haven't spent much time teaching him America's favorite pasttime. We have failed at parenting. :)

He had fun anyways. Maybe he'll get a t-ball set for his birthday and then next year he'll be ready to show everyone how it is done.
Next up was Matt who hit it over the fence both tries.

Then, Jama gave it a try. Now we know where Quinn gets it. Hey, at least she gave it a shot and actually hit the ball.
Before we left, we had to get a picture with the Mariners Moose.
Within minutes of getting in the car, Izabel was fast asleep. She was so tired, she fell asleep while eating her snack. If you look close enough, you can see a goldfish in her mouth. The funniest thing was that about 20 minutes later, she woke up just long enough to chew the goldfish in her mouth and fell back asleep.
